Costume Preparation

 For our AS-level media film opener, we had specially chosen a plain white t-shirt and pants as the outfit for our principal lead. The selection was made thoughtfully because the plain white color is an indicator of innocence and vulnerability, major elements of our thriller storyline. Secondly, the white color also acted as the best medium to be stained with our mock blood, enhancing the difference more visibly. The simple costume also served to create a realistic and down-to-earth atmosphere, keeping the audience's attention focused on the dramatic tension and engaging plot, not pretentious attire. Due to our restricted budget, this costume was also the practical and economic option that played its part toward the overall appearance of our film very effectively.
