Lalaland
In “La La Land”, the audience is taken aback when they see most cars park on an LA freeway only for their drivers to alight and perform in “Another Day of Sun.” In this case, many different units dance and sing about their ambitions within the huge traffic jam.
The camera movements and angles used are quite creative and interesting, with the choreography and the energy of the performers captured on wide angles and in soaring cranes. The smooth camera motions add to the idea of realism, allowing the audience to experience the action as if they were present. The close-up perspective has a knack for focusing on certain people’s faces and the thoughts of the people within the screen. For the entire film, the cinematography fits the mood and complements the scene featured and sets a tone of optimism for the pursuit of dreams
